About me

I have joined the University of Brighton Southcoast team back in October 2014 and I am responsible for the Event Support Services we offer. I’ve worked in the events industry for 7 years and previously have worked at the University of Oxford.

In my time in the industry, I’ve had the fantastic opportunity to work on some amazing events; some of my personal favourites would have to be the British Science Festival and my yearly highlight is the annual Graduate Show we have here at the University of Brighton.

The best part of my role is working closely with clients right from the initial event idea and seeing it through to actuality on the day. I get a real buzz out of coming up with creative solutions to help deliver the clients' event objectives.

If you are planning on putting on an event or conference, I can help you with preparing conference bids, budget planning right through to programme design, venue bookings and logistics.

Our team can take the administrative strain that comes with running events off you and work in partnership with you to ensure your event is a success.

If you are running an event and need and extra pair of hands, we do have fully trained team of event staff who can be on hand to help with running registration desks, event set up and much more. We work with students from the University to give them training to be part of event teams which gives them invaluable work experience and the client more time to focus on the event opportunities.
