The Santander University of Brighton Ideas Competition is open to all students and graduates of the University and aims to reward innovation, and turn great ideas into reality.
If students or graduates of the university have an idea for a new product, service or community project – The Santander University of Brighton Ideas Competition is their chance to make it happen.
Prizes of £2000, £1000 and £500 were available to win and the top three winners received a free package of support from local entrepreneurs and specialist businesses. A generous package of business start-up support was also on offer from sponsors Brighton Gin, Enterprise Nation, Inngot, MDHUB, Mayo Wynne Baxter, Swindells Chartered Accountants and Exhibit Printing.
The Southcoast Events team were delighted to work with the event organisers again on this event to provide a professional event team on the night to set up the venue and welcome delegates on arrival. We also worked with the onsite teams in the run up to the event to make sure that the rooms were set up and ready before the organiser arrived on site. The organiser sent us the delegates list from this, we produced professional badges and using our specialist software, we checked guests in on arrival.
The event saw multiple high profile attendees from the university and businesses. Southcoast Conferences would like to congratulate all the winners; Frugly, Gomi and The Lamb Bag, and those who reached the finals of the competition, a fantastic achievement!
